A bittersweet day in our family was moving day. We had anticipated it for a few weeks but the actual day was hard. A bright spot was that it was the first day in 40+ days that it did not reach 100 degrees, especially since we were all outside all day long. The moving company was less than stellar and took 11 hours to load our house - at one point (while not on a break) they took an hour to load 1 piece of furniture. It was a looooong day. The kids ate dinner at our neighbor and wonderful friend Candace's house - she even bathed Abbie and put her in her pjs with her kids. What a blessing it has been to live just a few houses down from this amazing friend. We will miss them so much. She was my last goodbye and it nearly broke me. We all cried as we left sweet Mapleridge Dr. (even my mom cried!).
Our stuff on the lawn and a little boy saying goodbye to his bean bag for awhile.
Taking a picture to send to dad - "Hi Dad!!"
One last goodbye...
