She turns 3 today. Three years ago a gift was brought into our family that has given us joy and challenged us to be more than who we are. She is a ball of fire most days taking life on at full force. If you look closely you can see the newest bump, this one above her left eye from going over her bike handlebars yesterday evening. She rides at one speed, fast. (and yes, she was wearing a helmet). She is now sitting in her new chair in her new Hi-O Kitty-O dress (she renamed Hello Kitty a few months back) watching for the Thunder Jets (Thunderbirds) to fly. I love her so very much. Happy birthday baby girl!

Random Pictures

Abbie loves to dress herself and has quite the style. Here are just a few examples.

Our ring countdown - we cut one every day daddy was in CA for school until he came home. We missed him but had fun with this.

Spring Break Day at the Zoo

Thank you to Granddaddy and Lela for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Membership! We look forward to going back many times this summer.

The peacock behind Abbie was following us for awhile.

The Bear exhibit is amazing!! The kids loved watching this bear fish and swim

10th Anniversary

We turned 10!! Some friends of ours kept our kids for part of the day so Jeff and I could take a hike to celebrate. We hiked the 4 mile version of Mt. Hermann which is about 15 mins from our house. It's a pretty easy hike but leads to some great views of the Tri Lakes region where we live.

Our neighborhood. To the right of the white roofs.

Surveying the area we minister to, actively love and pray for.

Pike's Peak

Palmer Lake

Church...the "L"

Evan played basketball at the Y this winter. He's in the blue jersey farthest away. He had lots of fun playing.

It's Been Waaaaay too Long...Hold Tight!

The Iowa Holcks came to Colorado for Christmas - a full house but so much fun! We spent part of the day at the Olympic Training Facility which is always fun.

Silly, silly Abbie. She "accessorized" herself in the gift shop and then came to find me.
