Swimming at the hotel

We all went swimming at the hotel. Alyssa, Christopher, Colin, Mary and Annie had a great time pushing each other in and splashing around. Evan just wanted to chew on him float.

Thanksgiving Week

The Iowa crew headed to Galveston. For many of them it was the first time they had seen the ocean. It was a beautiful day and as you can see the water looked nice too...the chilly water did not stop them from going in. Everyone
had a great time.

As the rest of the family goes in, Jeff taking the pic...but where are Grandma and Grandpa?

Thanksgiving Week

Houston had quite the warm Thanksgiving week, so we all pulled out our shortsleeves and spend a lot of time outside and on the foosball table.

1st Halloween

As you can see, Evan was Tigger this year. He did not hit the streets, but we did open the door with him for awhile and he and I went outside to see the neighbors and their kids all dressed up. Tigger did not last too long indoors as the costume was fairly restrictive and hot...so we eventually became "Baby New Year."

Evan couldn't quite roll over with the added belly, he sure tried though.

Not sure where his facial expressions come from sometimes...

we may just have another actor in the family. :)

October 29, 2006

Evan LOVES his daddy, they have lots of fun together.

And we wonder why Evan's mouth is always open in pics! ;)

Evan and mom trading "kisses." Evan has begun grabbing you and pulling you close to "kiss" your face...or lick it, I prefer to call them kisses. :)

Evan has discovered the cats and they have learned that being too close means losing fur as Evan likes to grab everything and hold tight these days.

Evan eyeing Mason...

Mason is as close as she will venture, quite the
look on her face too.

Evan doesn't read "looks" just yet, so I moved him closer to see what would happen.

Mason quickly disappeared. Until next time...

Uncle Peter's Surprise Birthday Party

Robyn put together a small surprise birthday party for Peter, however it was not much of a surprise as it's hard to contain 6 kids, ages 4.5 months to 11 years, to jump out and say happy birthday. It was a fun day as Amy's Aunt Sarah was in town from Puerto Rico and her cousins Perry and Laura and their two kids Lindy and George were there. Evan did great at his second attempt at a birthday party.

Lindy and Wendi wait to blow out THE candle. I guess at Peter's age you just the get one.

Wendi and Brayden driving around...or chasing everyone - take your pick.

First Solids With A Spoon

Evan and dad having a moment before the "feeding" begins

We started him with 1/2 his bottle so he wouldn't be starving and frustrated.

Here we go....

Not so sure about this....

Dad...HELP! :)

The Pumpkin Patch

Friday was such a beautiful Fall day we decided to take Evan to the pumpkin patch at MDUMC. He had fun sitting in the pumpkins and even "tasted" them once or twice.
