Evan's Own John Deere

Evan's Grandpa and Grandma gave him a John Deere tractor as an early birthday present. He really enjoys pushing the "horn" as it makes an engine start up noise as well as a horn noise. He can ride on it or open the seat and play with the animals inside. He has tried to walk behind it a few times, but no pictures as it's kind of dangerous since the tractor goes faster than his legs right now.

My Big, Silly Boy

Evan will be a year old one week from today. I cannot believe that a year has gone by so quickly. He has gotten so big and adventurous. I rarely get a non-blurry picture these days as he is always moving. He is such a joy and such a ham. He is climbing and crusing and starting to let go when standing. He is "talking" in his own language but using the same "word" for the same thing over and over. What a difference a year makes!

The Neighborhood WaterPark

Evan's Grandma and Grandpa came in from Iowa to visit. It was a beautiful day so we took Evan to the neighborhood waterpark for his first visit. He got so excited when he saw it when we got out of the car, I didn't think we could get him in fast enough. He loved it, I have a feeling that we will be here a lot this summer.
Sunscreen first...he's got his eye on the water

Water shooting up from the ground...this is AWESOME!

Where to next...there is so much more off to my right too...

No posing for the picture today, he's reaching for the water.

I think I've gotten in over my head...HELP!
This is So cool, thanks!

Becoming more and more adventurous

There is a playground next to the waterpark, so we took Evan to play a little before heading home.

Daily Life In the New House

Evan enjoys his crackers...

...and his sippy
Evan now has access to a few cabinets that contain lots of "toys." The kitchen is a new favorite place to play.

The Move

The big moving day finally came and has turned into moving weeks as unpacking around an 11 month old is quite the challenge. However tunnels are a great way to keep him entertained...Spencer was even intrigued.

Evan's most favorite thing about his new house? The prior family left their swing. We swing every evening after dinner and before bedtime. Evan will even go to the front door and wait or "bang" for the swing. He LOVES it.

Bathtime Fun With Spencer

Spencer loves the water so he joined Evan for bathtime, Evan thought it was great, Spencer was not sold on sharing "his" tub.

Easter

Easter turned out a little colder than expected, but it was a fun day. Evan enjoyed chasing eggs inside the house as he would push them forward and then go after them.
